The Haiti Project

DIRECTOR | CINEMATOGRAPHER

Fondeblan, Haiti recently opened the doors of the first library in a 200-mile radius. MacArthur Award-winning author Edwidge Danticat reminds us why it matters.

Spending time working with Edwidge and the people of Haiti, reminded me that literacy might just be the single best gift any of us has received. It is my hope this short film can make us pause to appreciate how books have changed our own lives and consider ways we might pass this gift on to people awaiting a similar spark.
